Please DON'T install a needle valve in opposition direction, because in the closed position the higher pressure fluid should on the bottom of the valve tip which is generally mental sealing. If you install the valve in opposite direction, the pressure fluid or gas constantly against the stem packing, this could cause leaks sooner and will reduce the lifetime of the valve.
